Hello There! This is Miscast

By day, we work in an advertising agency. By night, we transform into die-hard nerds, trying to hide our secret identities from our clients, our families, and our girlfriends. This is Miscast — a project born out of a passion for Warhammer, which began in 2025 with the successful Kickstarter campaign for The Wheeler, a tool that allows anyone to accurately and quickly measure wheel manoeuvres in miniatures wargames such as Warhammer: The Old World.

We have loads more ideas to bring to life, and we can't wait to share them with all the other wargaming enthusiasts. 🎲🎲

Where It All Started: The Wheeler

The Wheeler wasn't just our first product — it was something that simply didn't exist before. Wargamers had always struggled to measure wheel manoeuvres accurately and quickly on the tabletop. We looked at the problem and, instead of working around it, we built the solution from scratch.

Launched on Kickstarter in 2025, The Wheeler became our best seller and proof of concept: that a small team of passionate nerds could identify a real gap in the hobby and fill it with something genuinely useful. It set the tone for everything Miscast makes — purposeful, precise, and built by people who actually play the game.

What still blows our minds? This little object — created simply to improve our own games — is now on tables around the world. Being based in Italy, seeing it pop up at tournaments abroad still feels a bit surreal. When we get messages like "Hi, I saw people using the Wheeler at a tournament here in Chicago, and I'd love to get a set", the feeling is indescribable. It's the kind of motivation that makes you want to keep building, keep creating, and keep pushing the hobby forward.
